IT'S NOT IN THE BAG, IT'S IN THE TEA

There's a Tea Party brewing...and you're invited! The establishment and fourth estate can jam Rudy and Hillary down our throats all year long, but they can't step into the voting booth with us. Let's shake shit up, people.

Viva la Revolucion!

So are you advocating for Ron Paul?

I am advocate for CHANGE, however we arrive there.

Take a good look at the Republican candidates for president. Unless you're one of the nine people left in this country still on board with where Bush is leading this country, it's a scary lot, to be sure. Ron Paul is the only one pitching change. The rest of those monkeys still believe Iran is part of some mythical trio of evil. Giuliani is playing Fear Factor. Romney wants to be sure his lawyers advise him on all matters of national security. Fred Thompson is borderline narcoleptic and McCain a senile hothead. Listen to those clowns yammer on about Middle East in a couple of weeks when they get together for the CNN/YouTube debate. It's downright terrifying.

I personally believe ANY Republican candidate (besides Ron Paul) would be a complete disaster for a country already reeling from 8 years of mismanagement and misdirection. So, of the Republican candidates for president, Paul's message resonates the most with me. And card-carrying Republicans fed up with the status quo are finally starting to give him serious consideration, too.

But am I ADVOCATING Ron Paul? I wouldn't necessarily say that. Of the limited GOP choices, I certainly PREFER him. And I'd vote for Paul over Hillary in a heartbeat. I like Dodd, Biden, Kucinich, Obama, and Edwards (in that order). But there's a whole year left before any of us have to make up our minds and a lot can happen in that time.

Meanwhile...there's no harm inviting folks to a tea party!

I SEE YOU!
