Carl Sagan is one of the few authors I've completed. Read pretty much everything the guy ever wrote. The man just had a way of explaining things so they stuck with you. Simple, but insightful.
This link is a video built to synchronize some of Sagan's more poignant prose. It's from Pale Blue Dot, which is also the name given that famous image of the earth taken from 4 billion miles away - the farthest photo ever taken of the only home we have. This clip does a great job of putting everything in perspective for you.
Kind of makes all those trivial daily problems wash away...
